The concept of casting quality of malleable steel pipe fittings

Casting quality should include the following aspects:

1) Intrinsic quality. Including chemical composition, metallographic structure, physical and mechanical properties, degree of internal defects of castings, etc.

2) External quality. Including dimensional tolerances, shape tolerances, surface roughness, surface layer hardness, quality tolerances, allowable surface casting defects, etc.

3) The quality of castings. Performance that meets the requirements of use, such as working performance under different conditions such as strength, high speed, wear, corrosion, high temperature, high pressure, and anti-leakage, cutting performance, welding performance, transportation performance and working life, etc. The specific requirements for the quality of castings are generally clearly stipulated in the parts drawings, casting drawings and related technical documents, factory standards, national standards and international standards.

4) The quality of service to customers. Timely supply according to the requirements of the contract, and the quality problems and requirements fed back by customers must be resolved in a timely manner.
