Surface Quality Of Ductile Iron Pipe Fittings

1. The inner and outer surfaces of ductile iron pipe fittings must be smooth, and no obvious defects such as cracks, cold partitions, and wrong boxes are allowed to hinder the use. Any local defects that reduce the wall thickness are allowed, but the depth should not exceed (2+0.05T) mm where T is the wall thickness of the pipe body.

2. The spare contour of the ductile iron pipe flange is clear, and casting defects that affect the use are not allowed.

3. With the consent of the purchaser, local defects that do not affect the use can be repaired, but the repaired pipe fittings must be re-tested for water pressure or air tightness.
